For The Health of It!
April
The Keene Sentinel and the Monadnock Region Health Reporting Lab partner annually to bring this free health fair to the community.
โFor the Health of It,โ brings together experts and vendors from the medical world to meet with local residents and provide screenings, guidance, helpful advice and insights that can make attendees healthier.
Keynote speakers along with one-on-one interviews between the Sentinel health solutions reporter and health care newsmakers are always part of our program.
Attendees can take advantage of various screenings, training in CPR, advice on diet and exercise, the opportunity to donate blood, vaccinations, flu shots and the opportunity to talk to medical experts on a variety of matters. Topics are wide ranging, from treatments for mental health, safety for school athletes, child health, even public policy discussions that affect the quality of care in New Hampshire.

Radically Rural

The Keene Sentinel and Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship partner annually to bring this two-day summit to the Keene community. We bring together people who are passionate about creating vibrant and robust rural communities and are eager to connect, learn, and lead the charge.
The event radiates rural and features our authentic downtown as a conference center, utilizing various venues for productive and inspirational discussions. Rather than a windowless conference center, attendees will pass by coffee houses, restaurants and shops to settle into our inviting event meeting locales, sprinkled conveniently throughout a walkable district.
